Looking for information on Archibald Eaves (Eves) and wife. In Union SC 1820, 1830, 1840 census (Eaves), on Murray Co GA 1850 census (Eves), not found after that.
Archibald (Eaves) entered into an apprenticeship agreement with a Peter P.Taylor in 1814, Union Co SC.
Four of his children, Nancy, Martin V, John F and Archibald (Eve) on Gordon Co GA 1860 census. Son James on Hamilton Co TN 1860 census, 1870 Dade Co GA census, 1880 & 1900 Hamilton Co TN census, 1910 Lauderdale Co MS, died & buried 1913 in Lauderdale MS.
The 1850 shows his wife as Lettitea (Lettilea). I’ve seen her last name posted as Herndestin (Herdestin), but cannot reference this surname anywhere else – can anyone give me a source for this information?
