Hi Sylvia,

My great grandmother was Margaret A. Eaves. She was born in Tn. in 1833. In 1840 she is in the home of Willis Morgan in Calloway Co., Ky. Willis was born in 1812 in N.C. and hiw wife, Mary, was born in 1818 Al. Margaret married Daniel Leon Rowlett June 19, 1852 in Henry Co., Tn. They were in Oregon Co., Mo. in 1860. Daniel joined the Confederacy in 1861 and shortly after Margaret died. Their son, my grandfather, William Rudolph Rowlett was born in Ky. in 1858. After his mother died William was taken in by neighbors and raised in Hillsboro, Mo. After the war, Daniel heard that his wife and son were both dead and William later heard that his father was killed in the war. It was some years later before they both found out different. For years I have tried to find out the parents of Margaret Eaves with no success. I have thought of Soloman as a possibility but as of now have no evidence of who it could be. If you have any information on Margaret or anything that would be helpful to me I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks,

Tom Rowlett
