Dear John,

My John Eatough was christened 3 Sep 1786 and died 15 Sep 1850, both in Whalley. His father, Richard was christened in 1750 and died 3 dec 1825. His mother was Ann Exton, who died in 1808. Richard also married an Ellin Wilkinson, about whom I know very little. I don't find any Alice in these families. While my sister and I were investigating this bunch, we both commented on how often some of the names were used, which made deciding who was who difficult. It seems that Richard, John, William and Ellen were recycled over and over again. I can't find an obvious connection between our two families. but keep on looking. If you're an Eatough, you'r related. Just finding out how may be difficult. Maybe we can come up with a connection later. You can also contact me at:
Good luck in your research,
Randy Eatough Nelson
