My maternal grandfather was an Eatough from Lancashire. He eventually came to live in Derbyshire to look for work. His name was John Eatough and he married a Jenny Waddington. they had 3 daughters Joyce Hall(my mother)Brenda and Carol. They originally lived ?in Great Harwood, Nr. Blackburn. I have never thought about tracing the family tree. However, I recognised this is an unusual name and hope to be of help. Do you know what the name means?
