de Eyton vs Hoamo de Pulford
I must be way behind in things as today is the first day I have heard of Hamo de Pulford and that he was father to Richard de Eaton whom m Cecilla de Huxley and there son Richard de Eaton whom married Agnes.I still don't know how this is connected to us but what I did learn is in the year of 1312-1313 item # C143/90/11 in the National archives it reads.Richark son of Hamo de pulford grants land in Eaton to Agnes, late wife of Richard son of Richard son of Hamo. no where in this breif artical was the son's referred to as Eaton. Is there a mix up in the name Eaton being added to the de Pulford name because of the land in witch they lived was Eaton Manor?
also noted that in the year 1220 item# DBW/A/A/A/4&5 deals with land grants and they are witnessed by Robert de Pulford. It seem that there are several articles under the William Baker collection but I was unable to open them.
Thanks for your help with this
