There is a book "History Genealogical and Biographical of the Eaton Families compiled by Nellie Zada Rice Molyneux, Syracuse, N.Y. C.W. Bardeen, Publisher 1911. This book is part of North York's Canadiana collection andyou have to go to that library to see it as they will not loan it out.
Apparently James, Robert & Timothy came to live with Margaret & Robert Reid, and aunt and uncle who had moved to Georgetown, Canada.
In Ireland - Erected In Memory of John Eaton of Clogher, who departed this life 30th January 1834 aged 50 years, also that of his wife Margaret Eaton who departed this life 3rd Octobe 1848 aged 52 years, also their daughter Eliza Jane who departed this life 21 November 1861 aged 42 and their grandson Timothy Beattie Eaton aged 9 months also their son John Eaton who died 23rd July 1895 aged 68 years also Margaret wife of John who died 24 January 1897 aged 64 years. You didn't ask for all of this but I think it proves that John Eaton, brother of Timothy took over the home farm & business and never came to Canada.I don't know about his sister Sarah, however she would have been 52 or 53 at the time of John Martin's marriage.
