Rick:
Nice talking to you this evening.
I tried to send 3 emails to you this evening. All of them were returned by your ISP as Unknown User.Considering I was replying to your emails, this makes no sense.I am replying here just out of convienence.
First, Molyneux's book can be purchased at:

In answer to your other questions I wrote:
Rick:
I think you are coming around to my way of thinking.
Warin the Bald and Warin de Eyton are definitely different people.
You are right - after the Earl, Warin the Bald was the most powerful man in
Shropshire and he would not have been a vassal of Pantulf.Furthermore,
Warin the Bald was clearly dead in 1086, while Warin de Eyton was clearly
living.
So we have 3 different Warins:
1.Warin the Bald, 1st Norman Sheriff of Shropshire
2.Warin de Eyton, vassal of Pantulf
3.Warin de Metz
Did I ever argue anything else?
With regard to Cresswell - I will have to check.I don't recall but I
thought it was part of the Pantulf's holdings.
Robert de Eyton may have gone on crusade but I do not think it possible for
him to have been the same one that granted Buttery - it has to be a son or
even a grandson.
