Thank You Rick,
I will send today to the Coll. of Arms and see what they have.I have afeeling that this will shed some light on his parents.Example:My Payne/Paine line. William Paine who came to america in 1635 had a son John Paine who was born in England in 1632 and came to america at age 3. One of his granddaughters married a Warner. So... In the Visitation of Suffolk the Paine/Payne/Payn family used for Arms: Argent, on a fess engrailed Gules between three martlets Sable as many mascles Or within a bordure also engrailed of the secound charged with fourteen bezants.
In the Collections of the Mass. Hist. Soc. I found a copy of John's signature and seal.Same crest and almost the same coat but with little changes. It is very clear that he was from the family in the Parish of Nowton, England and further research proved his family line even if his father was not in the Visitation of Suffolk due to his age. But.....now I get to research his inlaws..Ashe of Thurlow...Pultney.....Walton of Leic.etc.
But back to Theo. Eaton... I fully agree with the research of Alan. Now I will research his coat of arms and the coat of both his father and grandfather. If the laws of arms are followed the coats should give a very BIG clue as to the
family line of Theo's line.
