Hi:
I can't be of much help, but I scanned one 19th century Eaton Association that shows a David Eaton, of the fifth generation of the Dedham Eatons going to Hanover, New Hampshir, from Ashford, Connecticut.
Also, in the "honor roll" of contributors to the association in 1949, was Miss Blance E. Burke of East Hampstead, new Hampshire.
In 1888, the Rev. William h. Eaton, DD, of Keene, N.H, was chosen as president of the Association.
The Annual meeting was attended by a Stephen B. Eaton, who was Steward of the New Hampshire State Prison.
Then, finally, in the 1890 Association report, it seems that, from the Salisbury, MA line of Eatons, John junior, of the 4th generation (in America) married Esther Swett of Hampton, NH, daughter of James, on Nov. 18 1708. Their children (John, Joseph, Benjamin, William, Thomas and WYman lived in either Hampton Falls or Seabrook, NH.
John Jr's brother, Samuel lived on a farm in Hampton Falls. He married Huldah Worthen in 1713 in Salisbury, MA in 1713. The report says that some of his children may have been born in New Havempshire. They were Samuel, Jemima, Jonathan, Elisha, Sara, David, martha and Lydia.Another brother, Jonathan, had a son, Thomas, who married a mary Campbell of Sandown, New Hampshire.
Still another brother, Daniel, had a son, Daniel, who married a Hannah Walton of Sandwich, NH.
John of Salisbury, in c. 1713 married Esther Johnson of Kingston, NH. I see a daughter, mary, married to a Benjamin Kimball of New hampshire and, born in 1730, a daughter Elizabeth (Oct. 21). She died June 6, 1736 Nothing more is said of her.
Still another sibling, Jabez, m. Sarah True Jan. 6, 1732 in Salisbury, but they moved to Hampton Falls, NH., of their children Sarah married Robert Smith of Seabrook, NH;Joshua lived in Seabrook; and Paul m. Mary Tilton (first wife) and lived in Candia, NH. His second wife was Hannah Emerson.
This is the best I can do. perhaps, among these people and places, you can find links to your Elizabeth.
From what I can see, if you have a Hampton or Seabrook connection in that group, there's a good bet they are Connected to the Salisbury, Mass line, one of the first New England families.
Rick
