A thought merely.
Fulk Stapleford is a hamlet in south west Cheshire, England. In Domesday Book, 1086, it was owned by Radulphus Venator, the ancestor of the Grosvenors. From him, by blood descent, it passed to the de Orreby line, who were the ancestors of the de Pulford family, from whom come the Eatons of Eaton. All this was done in about four generations, from de Orreby to de Eaton.
These families, probably all one related family, and the places they took their names from, are within an hour's easy walk of one another. They are contiguous.
Though it is a mediaeval name, Fulk, in this context, is likely to be more than a coincidence.
