EATON FAMILY ASSOCIATION UPDATE

Rick,
I like the idea of the association, and I thank you for your effort, time, and enthusiam in trying to put this together, but I have a few questions.
Many people on this message board have been helpful to me, including you and Barbara, but I suspect many of us Eatons are not quite back to the year 1100 yet.
1 Will the main thrust of the web site be very early Eatons, or will U.S. genealogy also be well represented?
2 In regards to the U.S., will eastern colonial Eatons weigh heavily in content?
My Eatons are from the east, but I would imagine there are more than a few of us stuck in 1880's Iowa or something similar.
3 In regards to joining. Will it be possible to join AFTER the initial startup? Some of us may not be that far back yet, but may benefit, and be a benefit to others later on in their research.
Just hoping the association will be inclusive to all aspects of Eaton research, from someone still trying to get past 1824 in New York City.
Regards,
Nancy Lieber
