I am searching for information on Hamilton Eaton, born in NY, died in or near Cattaragus county in 1844. Married to Ruth Spooner,1819-1893, buried in Fonda, IA. They had the following children that I know of:
Henry Hubbard Eaton
Albert Eaton
William Eaton
Mary J Eaton
Harvey Eaton

Ruth Spooner remarried to a Warner Gorton in 1848, but was left a widow early. Sons Henry, William and Harvey were in the Green Lake, WI. area, with William and Harvey moving to Fonda, IA. Ruth Spooner Gorton stayed with son Harvey in Fonda, IA. until her death. William married Hannah Barrett. He died in Spokane, WA. in 1914 and is buried there. Wife Hannah died in 1925 and is buried in Fonda, IA.
