Roy was born LeRoy Eastwood on 4 September 1897 to Scott Eastwood and Martha (Mattie) Slattery in Patterson, Putnam Cty, New York. He died 17 January 1954 in Hyde Park, Westchester County, NY. Married Alida Van Wagner on 02 August 1918. They had four children and one step daughter, Evelyn who was the child of Gordon Eastwood. Both parents died young.
