Lewis Eastwood was born 1746 in Portsmouth, Norfolk County, VA and died 4/9/1829 in New York, NY. He was married to (1) Mary and (2) Lucy. Among his numerous descendents is actor Clint Eastwood. His issue includes Nathaniel Eastwood (1773) married unknown who died after 1820 in Madison County, NY; Lewis Eastwood, Jr. (1777) died young; John Eastwood (1779) who married (1) Polly White and (2) Margaret Marvin and who died in Madison County, NY in 1842; Asa Eastwood (1781) who married Mary Doxsey and died 1879 in Cicero, Onondaga County, NY; Enos Eastwood (1783) who married Sarah and died 1823; Benjamin Eastwood (1785) who married Elizabeth Roy and died in Kanawha County, VA (now WV) after 1850; Catherine Eastwood (1787); Rachel Eastwood (1789) died without issue 1814-1815; Samuel Eastwood (1791) died without issue 1837; and James Eastwood (1795) who married Phoebe Matilda Kidd and died in New York, NY in 1836.
