Does anyone have an Eastwood family in Texas with a J. T. or John T. Eastwood who was killed as a result of some sort of mob violence about 1874 possibly in Bell Co., TX. My grandfather's brother John W. Pinkston and J. T. Eastwood were both shot and killed as they rode together somewhere in Texas about 1874. It was most likely in Bell Co. but could have been in Coleman Co. or anywhere in between. John W. Pinkston was married to Paulina Blevins and J. T. Eastwood was married to Paulina's sister Sally Blevins. J. T. Eastwood and Sally Blevins had one daughter that I know about, Agnes Victoria Eastwood, who later married Thomas N. Pinkston in Coleman Co. TX. I want to know where these deaths took place and the location of the graves. I will greatly appreciate any information. Thanks.
