My grandmother was an eastwood and is related to this family (she and her brother had the deeds of Castletown house in there possession) my sister is writing a book on our branch of the family, my greatgrandmother was anne berney she married a Patrick Eastwood she was a servant in the castle and a catholic but he fell in love with her an consequently he was cut off from the family and moved to dublin where they had abou five children my mother is the last surviving child of that line she is 81 years old.
