Just spotted your message on the Eastwood Forum.
My wife`s ancestors are Eastwoods from Horbury and Almondbury in the West Riding of Yorkshire.
Her oldest known ancestor is a Jonas Eastwood born in 1750, married Ann in 1771 and had at least 3 children. One of these was also called Jonas born 1772 in Almondbury who married Ann Sykes on 14th February 1797 at Kirkburton and went on to have 9 known children. At the moment we do not have a Thomas linked in with the above, but there are several large gaps in the birth schedule.
