George,

I would like to know if that woman ever responed to you. Ephriam's will does not mention his children's names. Someone posted Ephraim's will written 1781 but probated 1784. They also stated that he had another will # 275 but rewrote his will in 1781. I have written to the archives to see if they have the original will.It is possible that his original will lists more children but he may have decided not to leave them anything in the amended will. He may have already left them something previously.

There is a John Eastridge that signed Ephraim's will that I believe is his son.

Per Tax Records in Epping Forrest district - Granville is where Ephraim was. Also John Easter ( poss Eastridge ) according to the Estes web. So were my Tuder/Tedder family. My Tudor/Tedder family married Eastridge but not in Granville.

Ephraim's will was probated in 1784, Granville. John Eastridge shows up on the 1787 tax list for Wilkes, NC. John Eastridge is the father of my Nathan Eastridge born in Wilkes. Two of Nathan's daughters Winny and Mahalea marry 2 Tedder brother's Zachariah and Benj. Tedder. Both these Tedder men are the son's of Harmon Tedder/Tudor of Granville/Chatham. DNA has proven that our Tedder/Tuder's of Wilkes,NC match the Tedder/Tudor's of Granville. Dispite what has been posted on my Harmon Tudor/Tedder, no marriage has been found for him ( wife is unk and has been made up )
His parents have also been made up. No record found to date on which Tudor of Granville/Chatham is his father. No will, probate or any kind of court record. People have posted that his father was Benj Tudor brother of John Tudor of Granville. There is a bible for Benj and Harmon is not in it! John Tudor has a will and Harmon is not in that either.
Harmon and James are together. There is proof of a younger James but there may have been an older James. ( still working on this )

Jodi ( mother of JD )
