I forgot to add, if that's your William H. Easton in Oneida County, 1838, I am not sure how he might fit with my people (they were in Oswego County until after 1840). Still, the naming patterns are interestingly coincidental and if you have more concrete evidence of William's actual date of birth (what is the age on his stone?) it might help. I see that the Ancestry.com query calls his wife "Maroa" twice but I wonder if that's not a typing error?
