My grandfather was born in Dundee, Scotland around 1885. He left for New York City at the age of 18. He went to Brooklyn where he worked as a stone cutter. He met my grandmother, Annie Walker, whose parents came from Scotland (not exactly sure where). They moved to Hillside, NJ where David worked for Bristol-Myers. They had four children: David Jr., Jean, Margaret, and William. William was born in 1923. He was 13 years younger than David and 12 and 11 yrs younger than his sisters. He is my father. He is 85 yrs old now, living in Madison, NJ. He served in WW2 in the 8th Army Air Corps in Rattlesden, England from Nov. 1943 to July 1945.
