Mary Gillon, wife of Henry Easton of Bathgate, Scotland. Early 1800s.

I would very much like to exchange information with descendants of Mary and Henry. Mary didn't die in the 1840s, as is recorded in some family trees. She took up with an Irishman called Peter Courtenay and had several children with him after Henry Easton died in 1832. One of those children was Thomas Courtenay, who later changed his name to Thomas Easton (my great-great-grandfather). Mary died in 1871 in Bathgate.

It's a complicated story that has taken me three years to unravel.
