Although I know that I am not a descendant of any Charlotte County, New Brunswick, Canada Eastman families, I do have the following in my research notes that has a Charlotte County, NB connection that may be of interest to you:
EASTMAN - David EASTMAN; possibly from Castine Maine.Married Mary FOLLANSBY/Folansby/Follansbee from Newburyport, Ma., USA.David was U.E.L. & went to St John, NB Canada, later to Sanders Island near St Andrews, NB.They had a daughter Elizabeth EASTMAN.What other siblings?Elizabeth married William MCCANN who died 1818 in St Andrews, NB; Canada. Wm & Elizabeth had a son, James McCann who was living during the period of 1849 - 1853, NB. This information came in a letter from Mary Ann (Dunham) MUSHEL, Box 9, Elmo, MT., USA, 59915.Tel: (406) 849-5289 Aug 1989.
Note: June 24, 1999 - Nanaimo public library "Loyalists of New Brunswick", Esther WRIGHTR971.5 pg 279 includes:David EASTMAN from PA to Saint Andrews, Charlotte County, New Brunswick, Canada
That's all I have on this family.Good luck with your NB research.
