Hi Missy -
I've been searching through all my papers, and can't find the reference to Mayflower Descendants.I found the ancestor record for Watson Eastman from the "Register." And -I hope this isn't what I was thinking of when I wrote about the lineage - I found an Eastman lineage in "Society of the Sons and Daughters of the Pilgrims," which had from John W. Eastman/William K./David/Moses/Ebenezer/Philip/Roger, which is the line from York County Maine that I had also mentioned. This society recognizes Roger the immigrant as a Pilgrim. If I goofed on this one, I'm very sorry. If you are interested in this Society, the address is:
Sons and Daughters of the Pilgrims, National Society
3917 Heritage Hills Drive, #104
Bloomington, MN55437-2633
and -
S&DP-Massachusetts Branch
P.O. Box 164
Stoneham, MA02180
In case I find something:
Society of Mayflower Descendants
National Headquarters
4 Winslow Street
P.O. Box 3297
Plymouth, MA02361
Phone (508) 746-3188
They have them in many states as well- 50 addresses in all.
These were in the "Genealogist's Address Book," the 1992-3 edition.
The book was "Lineages of Members of the National Society of the Sons and Daughters of the Pilgrims," Vol. I.I got it from the local library, but it was when I lived in Portland, Oregon (Main Branch). R929.3L754.The section I found was of Welles Eastman's ancestry (mentioned above) on p. 207-8.
I will keep searching.I hope I didn't just make that statement from memory - not something I usually do when working on this.
