Joseph TUCKER m. Susannah ?EASTMAN? d. 1776 in New Hampshire
Posted by: Jan Rose (ID *****1076) Date: December 19, 2003 at 15:03:38
  of 1571

Seeking maiden name of Susannah [aka Susey], possibly EASTMAN, who died probably in 1776 in Hawke [today Danville], Rockingham Co., NH. Susey married Joseph TUCKER, Jr., son of Ebenezer and Deborah BLAKE TUCKER, born 1741, in Hampton Falls, Rockingham, NH, and he died 29 Sept. 1776 of smallpox.

Children were:
~Jonathan born 19 March 1763 married Abigail COOK and moved to Aurelius, Cayuga, NY;
~Henry born 25 Oct. 1769 married Mindwell COOK [my ancestor]; ~Susey,
~Deborah,
~Joseph, and
~Samuel and possilby Hannah TUCKER born 24 Sept. 1775, possibly died young.

Some of the EASTMAN family took the younger TUCKER children in after Joseph and Susannah died, but charged the town for their expenses.

MANY THANKS :-) in advance,
Jan Jordan
