Actually if you have got your ancestry back to Philip Eastman you are already in paydirt as far as the Eastmans are concerned anyway, since there is a lot of information available about the Eastman family in the early colonial days.
I have the Rix book on the Eastmans, which is not always correct but anyway on page 10, Vol. 1, it says that Philip Eastman was born in Salisbury Mass October 20, 1644 and Mary Morse, nee Mary Barnard, was his second wife. They married August 22, 1678. Mary Barnard was born September 22, 1645 and at the time of her marriage was the widow of Anthony Morse. She was the daughter of Thomas and Elinor Barnard of Newburyport Mass.Philip Eastman was the son of Roger Eastman. He served in King Philip's War.He is reflected in the town records of Woodstock Connecticut where he settled.
Earlier in the Rix book it says that Roger Eastman is the ancestor of most Eastmans in America. He came from Langford in Wiltshire, England, and sailed from Southampton in the ship Confidence, bound for Massachusetts Bay Colony in April 1638.He settled in Salisbury Mass. His wife's name is thought to have been Sarah Smith. He had 10 children of whom Philip was the third.
I hope this helps.Good luck.
