I joined the DARs in 1967 through his established service. They moved with other relatives to Madison/Garrard Cos., KY where Susannah died 17 May 1798 when my gr=gr grandfather-Reubin Eastin- was 6 months old.Stephen did not remarry (as far as I have been able to document) and he passed away 15 Sept 1815 in Madison CO., KY. His son, Reubin Eastin married Nancy Minter Pullins (born 10 Feb 1799)in Madison CO., KY. Nancy Minter Pullins is the daughter of Loftus Pullins, Jr who also served in the American Revolution and Loftus is buried in Berea, KY in a cemetery behind the Berea College Barn near the Gibson Card Factory where his grave has been marked by the DAR/SAR.Loftus and family lived in Paint Lick, KY which is just outside Berea, KY.
