I'm working on this Eastham line for my husband's family. I am so confused. Am hoping that maybe you can help me sort this all out. I think I've got it tracked back to Robert Eastham (who was married to Ann Lawson). This Robert I believe was a colonel in the French/Indian Wars.

I'm looking for some clarification on who his parents are. Right now, I've got them listed as George and Mary Bird.

I have George's father as Edward. However, I'm somewhat confused on which Edward. I have two Edwards around this time.

First...Edward b. abt 1660 in VA (married Ann Taylor). I'd be very interested in a listing of their kids since what I have is a complete mess. I really think based on the birthdates that this Edward is an older brother to George, but again...looking for some help on this.

The second Edward (which is the one I actually have as the father to George) was b. abt 1619 in St. Lawrence, Kent, England. Married to Mary (I have Eastham listed as her maybe they were cousins or maybe that info was unavailable so the person who gave me the info just listed her married name????). The only child I have listed for this couple is George.

I would appreciate any help in sorting this all out. I'd be happy to share anything I've got (although I probably don't have anything new that goes back this far).

You can reply here, or email me directly at Thanks!
