Molly, I have seen your queries regarding Samuel Easttam and wife Catherine and am hoping you can help me. I am interested in Catherine - have you discovered her maiden name?

I am tracing a Reaves family who are listed in the 1870 Searcy Co., Ar census living next door to my gggrandfather, Thomas Harrison. In 1864 a Catharine Harrison md James Reavis in White Co., Ar. Thomas Harrison and family were in the 1860 White Co. census. I have been tracing the Searcy Co. Reeves family to see if this is the daughter of my Thomas Harrison.

The Reaves family in 1870 consisted of James Reeves, wife Catharine b 1850/5l, Lee b 1868 and William b 1864.

Thomas Harrison died between 1870 and 1880. My Grandather Benjamin Harrison (b 1858) was in Sebastian Co by 1880 and married. I have been unable to trace any of his siblings and am so hoping your Catharine is his sister.

Do you know Catharine's maiden name? Or have any clues to her family?

Thanks so much for any help you can give me.

Mary Ann
