I have a great, great granfather-in-law who's name is John Easthom, born 1836 in Hindley, Lanchashire, who married Martha Heyes of HIndley Lancashire. They married in Hindley in 1863. They immigrated to North America in 1867. They had 7 children, Henry(also known as Harry), Isabella, Richard, James John Henry, Alice Ann and Gilbert. Henry was born in Lancashire, Isabella and Richard were born in Pennsylvania, James was born in Iowa, John Henry, Alice Ann and Gilbert were born in Nanaimo, B.C.
