Would any of the eight children be Samuel Eastham? He was my gr-grandfather, born in Ky in 1824, spent most of his life in eastern Oklahoma and western Arkansas. According to the 1900 Bowie County, TX, census, his father was born in England and his mother in Mississippi, names unknown.

We don't know his first wife's name, but they had a daughter named Elvira who married a Louis Adams, and a son named Sherman who died fairly young. His second wife's name was Catherine, and they were the parents of my grandfather Boston and five other children.

He's been extremely difficult to track down. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Molly Dixon
