Hi Dana,

Though yours is an extended line to my two direct Eastham family lines, I do have a few tidbits that might be useful to your research. Our Eastham group came out of Virginia to Pulaski Co., Kentucky.

John "Jackie" EASTHAM and Mary "Polly" DENHAM

Willis EASTHAM and Catherine DUTTON

Thomas J. EASTHAM and Martha WILSON

Millender C. "Mit" EASTHAM and Annie HARRISON
..Elmer c1885
..Martha S. c1887
..Luther T. c1890
..May B. c1894
..Ollie B. c1896
..Samuel A. c1900

According to the 1900 census for Boone Co., Arkansas(soundex), all the above listed children for Millender and Annie were born in Arkansas. Annie's widowed mother Martha Harrison is in the household.

CA Death Index: Ollie B. Shipley born 12/1/1899 (sic) Arkansas, mother's maiden name Harrison, no Father's last name listed, died 7/13/1968 Ukiah, Mendicino County.

SS Death Index: Ollie Shipley born 1 Dec 1896, died Jul 1968, last residence Ukiah, Mendicino Co., CA, SS number issued in Oklahoma.

Quite a bit of research has been done on the Eastham family of Pulaski Co., Kentucky. You should be able to make a connection or two with others researching your line through Willis.

Vicki Peterson
