I have some old, old notes, don't know where I got this info. "7 children of William & Emily Burress. 1. James Miles Burress (1825-1862) died a confederate soldier in Macon, MS. His children: William Jasper Burress, Francis A. E. (1851-1898), James N. (1854-1909), Mary E. (1856-1940), John H. (1858-1940), George W. (1861-1948). (2)John burress born 1826, (3) Harriet A. Burress Farmer (1831-1867), (4) George Burress (1834-), (5)Nancy Burress Twitty (1836-), (6)William Burress (1840-), (7) Jesse L. Burress (1842-1922) His children: William R., Martha v., Charles L., Abbey E., Lee Anna, Lona Ella.
