While searching for a Civil War record for my ancestor James Marion Smith, I found a Roster for Co.G, 1st AL Cavalry. On that roster with my James M. Smith were the following Easterwood's- Harvey, John and Nat. Could this be your Harvey and Nat?

By the way, James M. Smith's son Thomas b. 1859 married Emma Easterwood in Calhoun Co. AL Dec 1880. These Smith's lived around Alexandria. It is possible that your Harvey was an Uncle of my Emmma Easterwood.
