Anna,
I finally received a copy of the original writings by Philip Easterly. It is not the version I first wrote about being discovered, but rather, a second version of the information. I have to assume now that Philip wrote more than one copy of his version of the history of the Easterly Family.
The news here is that he did write about the parents of Elizabeth Bible (b.19 Mar 1786), wife of Casper Easterly.
He lists her parents as Philip Bible and Margaret. He further states that Philip Bible was a son of Adam Bible and Ellen Ryan, and that Adam Bible served in the Revolutianary War and names the unit in which he served.
Isn't this the info for which you have been searching?
I am including the complete copy (38 pages) on the Easterly Family Info CD.

Frank
