Hi Howard,
This image of Daniel Easterday was taken at the studio of Kelly & co. in Lincoln, Nebraska. It is a cabnet card photgraph. On the back is written:
October 19th 1813
December 25th 1885
signed Daniel Easterday
He may have sent these as Christmas card/gifts at the time.
Some info about me. I am a photographer and family genealogist. I seek out these images at antique shops in the Northeast and Midwest in the hopes of getting them back into family hands.
Obviously, most never find a home. The ones that do are a blessing. I have hundreds that are still awaiting a home.
