My Easterby/Esterby's came to the US from Denmark in 1888. When they lived in Denmark the last name was spelled Østerby. Im trying to find out if these Easterbys in minnesota are related to my easterbys. the farthest I can go back is to my gg grandfather Hans Frederik Hermann Easterby b. March 21, 1860 in Fredrikshaven, Denmark. I heard that his fathers name was Bernhardt but I have no proof. I also dont have any names of Hans siblings if he had any. I was wondering if the Minnesota Easterbys could be decended from a brother of Hans. Thanks.
