My Emma ESTERBY was born in 1842 in England
and died 1883 in PA.shortly after giving birth to a baby.(both are buried in same grave)
The family came to NY in 1874 .She lived in Elmira,NY with her husband John George JOHNSON and children: William, Robert, Charles, Caroline and Louisa.
They moved to PA shortly before August 1880 when my grandfather was born.
Emma was sister of Caroline who was born in 1844 married to Jack Pack and two children I know of were Rosa and Edward who lived in Elmira also. According to family papers their father was Robert.
I have no other info on the Easterby family and would appreciate anything you would like to share. John JOHNSON was my great grandfather...thanks..Dori
