I am distantly related to the Jane Easterbrook who married Jacob Peart before 1861 in Ontario, Canada. I don't have very much information on the family, except for the following:
1877 Historical Atlas of Halton Co. has Jacob Peart owning Con. II SDS, Lot 16 (50 acres) and Con BB, Lot 0 (100 acres) in Nelson Twp., Wellington Square P.O.

Jacob died on 20 Apr 1920 and was buried in Job's Cem., Nelson Twp. Halton Co., Ontario. Jane died 6 Nov 1913 and is buried there as well.
Jane Easterbrook was the first cousin of the Elizabeth Easterbrook who was the mother of Hilton Whitlock Smale (Annie Aldwilda's husband). Their common ancestors were Elias Easterbrook and Joan Stranger. I am their first cousin 3 times removed.
