Gary - My grandfather was Alfred Easterbrook he left Devon England (Torquay area) around the turn of the century for New Brunswick, Canada. He met and married his first wife in Canda and they moved to Chicago. During WWI he went from Chicago, IL. USA to Tronoto Canada to join up while in France he lost his leg. After WWI he met my grandmother in New York and they married and had two daughters. My mother Mary and my Aunt Irene. He always said he had brothers and sisters still in Devon. One brother named Edwin or Edmund, Harry or Henry, and a sister named Lucy (we think). He said that one of his uncles worked a dairy or that he help his uncle at a dairy. Grandfather Alfred was a writer and became a minister. He was a wonderful story teller. And was blest with a wicked wit. If any of this will help or if you know anything I would love to communicate. I have his miltary identification number. I look forward to hearing from you. Sharon
