Sue was an Eastep, born and raised in Tennessee. Her father, Jesse Lee, was born in Mt. Pleasant, Tenn. Jesse's dad was Mack Eastep, born in Limestone Cty, Ala. We think the ancestry was: John Estep, 1647, Richard Estep, 1684, Thomas Estep, 1710, Thomas Estep, Jr, 1730, Moses Eastep, 1785, (note the spelling change), Newton, 1822, then Moses, 1847, then William, 1867, then Mack, 1891, then Jesse, 1920.
