My grandpa Ben Franklin Eastep was born in 1896 probably in Greene County or he may have come from Virginia or one of the Carolinas. He lived for many years in Greene County, TN on Chimney Top Mountain. Later he moved to Sullivan County, TN. His wife's maiden name was Lucille Forbes. His mother's maiden name was Julie Adams. That's all that I am sure of but I remember more from stories from my Great Aunt Rhoda, grandpa Eastep's sister, unfortunately they were mostly referred to as Great Grandpa or Grandma Eastep, Great, Great Grandpa or Grandma Eastep.
