I'm looking for information on "Tempy" Eastep. She was born ~1815-20 (in NC?), and Eastep was probably her first married name. In 1840, as a widow (?) with a young child (2-yr. old "Jane Eastep"), Tempy Eastep married my G-G-Grandfather in Carter Co.,TN.

Does anyone know the identity of the Eastep to whom "Tempy" was married?
