Bill , from what i can gather the eastaway's ran a shipping line from yougahal to swansea and ilfracombe. there is apparently a wharf named eastaway but i'm not sure where it is.
there is also links to waterford.
the murray line also had shipping in there past but am yet to find exactly from where to where. My wifes family beleived they were originally from ireland, but it turns out only two generations were from ireland.
there is some buried in west minster abbey.

We live in Australia and it is very hard and expensive to do much research as we would like.
I know my own line come from Ireland but with a name like ryan it would probably take many years to trace back. I'm in your boots,
everybody has passed away, refuses to talk about the past(black spots in the family) or they give the wrong makes for a long haul .

we've not long received a map on england and ireland so we could look and see were everbody lived and moved to. one day we'll make the journey over and gaze at the history

anyway better go
regards kevin ryan.
