Am trying to unravel the mystery of Lillian Wells. She was the great grandaughter of William Eason (May 22, 1772 - Oct. 1 1831) born in ?, South Carolina. Lived most of life in Tatnall Co., Georgia. Married to Sarah Mattox (Dec. 3 1777 - May 16, 1859) born ?, South Carolina. William Eason was the founder of Methodism in Tatnall Co., Georgia and established Mt. Carmel Church. Lillian Wells was the daughter of Esmerelda R. Elizabeth Wells (August 12, 1852 - July 4 1919) born in Liberty Co., GA and lived in Tatnall Co., GA. Father unknown. Lillian as the granddaughter of Elizabeth Eason (April 23, 1802 - Dec. 3, 1884) and Dr. Daniel Sikes (Dec. 18, 1804 - May 11, 1869) of Tatnall Co. GA.
