My ggg grandmother was Charity Eason, b. 1762 prob. in SC. We think her mother's first name was Asenath. Charity married Samuel Pyle ca 1793 in SC. They were in Oglethorpe Co., Ga. by the late 1790's. Charity was last seen on the 1850 census living with her son, Abraham Pyle in Stewart Co., GA. Her name was listed as Charity POPE.
An Abraham Eason's estate was settled in Oglethorpe Co., GA. in 1808 listing an Asenath as his widow with son John Eason, Sons-in-law John Ogilvie and Archelaus Pope. Does anyone know if there is any connection between this Eason-Pope-Pyle families?
Any help will be appreciated.
