Looking for any info on the family of Mary Eason who married James Martin Mar 15, 1825 in Wilson County, TN. Possibly her father was an Alexander Eason who left property to her minor heir in 1828 on Barton's Creek. Jesse Eason was also an heir, possibly her brother. Jesse dies intestate, 1832, and the property is sold to Norvel Douglass. A Reddick Eason may be connected to this family. He sold 130 acres to John Martin of Sumner County, TN in 1819. Sumner is the other side of the Cumberland River from Wilson. Do not know if the two Martins are related. I am a direct descendent of James and Mary and their only son, Joseph Burton Martin. Would like to share info with any Easons who had family that moved from N.C. to Wilson County. cheryls @wwnet.net
