Hi, Doris! My dad was Robert Lee Eason and William was my grandfather. I am against the same brick wall as you. I have the 1870 census of Kemper Co., Miss on which I found Fannie Black, 15 yrs.born in Georgia and evidently living with her brother, Ben Black 26,he was born in Georgia and his wife Laura, 27. Also in the same census and County I find Georgia Black,19 yrs., born in Alabama, working as a house keeper and living with or enumerated with another family, Robert (McNair)? and two children. Then. .I find a Joseph Black, 22, born in Georgia,(I am sorry but I can't read the county name and I forgot it, in 1870.) living with (I believe it is the Morgan Stewart family.) These are only census records. I have found no proof these people are related and no info as to who their parents were. I am afraid I waited too long to ask questions as my dad died in 1978 at the age of 85.
Please keep in touch! Millie
