Jim,
Do know if your Alexander EASON's, son Jesse might be my Jessie EASON (b. abt 1788 in NC, d. aft. 1850 in Dyer Co. TN)? He is on 1850 census there, but not on 1860, wife's name was Louisa. Their son Alfred B. EASON (1828-1870) was my gg grandfather.
