I am decended from Rev. William Eason and Sarah Mattox through their son Abraham Darlington Eason and his daughter Georgia Marie Eason who married William Henry Wood who were the parents of my mother Lilla Darlington Wood who married Henry Oscar DeLoach.
I would like to find more information on the ancesters of William. I understand his father was named George and lived in Perquimins County, N. C. In a book at our local library entitled "History of Perquimins County, N. C." by Mrs Watson Winslow in 1974 I found the names:
Henery Eason who married Mary O'Deare on June 18, 1687 by William Wilkerson, Esq.
There are transfers of real estate from George Eason to his son George, and from George Eason and wife Mary toJoseph Hurdle, Jacob Pierce of Perq..
The names Jacob, George,Sr., Abraham, and Sarah Eason are mentioned. There is also a Thomas and William mentioned.
Anyone who might tie these individuals to Rev. William Eason of Tattnall County Ga. would be of great assistance if they would get in touch with me. Thanks
