This is fasicnating to me. I have always been curious about my
adoptive family history. I was adopted on June 3, 1971 in Jacksonville, Florida by
James Irving Eason (born December 19, 194? in Jacksonville, Florida) married to
Linda Jane Scott (born January 5, 194? in Abilene Texas)
My father's parents were
Irving Moses Eason and Lila Francis ?????
I will find out from them more information and I will post it here.
From what I've been told about our family's history, is that we originally
came from North Carolina, and our family there were horse thieves. We eventually
moved to Georgia, where I know we have a family reunion near Blackshear, Georgia and
Washington County, Georgia every so often.
I'll try to provide a more detailed account next time I post.
If you post a message, please give a small account of your background too. I'm tracking this
as best as I can. That way we can work back to the other history. (for example, your parents
names, etc...)
